Case Study

CLIENT GOAL

CASA is a Raleigh-based nonprofit dedicated to building and managing affordable housing for individuals and families who need it most. With fundraising and public support essential to their mission, CASA needed content that could inspire donors, show authentic impact, and position housing as the solution to homelessness.

OUR APPROACH

Since 2018, we have worked alongside CASA not only as a production team but as a strategic partner, consulting with them on how to use video and imagery to advance their fundraising and communication goals. Together, we have built a content strategy rooted in emotional storytelling and versatile production, ensuring CASA’s message connects with donors and the public in meaningful ways.

We have produced dozens of videos and still images each year, giving CASA consistent, brand-aligned content to reach audiences across web, social, live events, advertising, and media.

Our work has included:


Brand Films: CASA’s flagship brand video continues to anchor their website and outreach, setting the foundation for how they communicate their mission.

Fundraising Campaigns: From annual galas to capital initiatives, we have created centerpiece films, plug-and-play updates, and music and graphic ads tailored to donor engagement.

King’s Ridge Campaign: We documented the project from the raw, untouched lot to a tenant moving into their new apartment. This included every phase: fundraising events, groundbreaking, lot clearing, construction timelapse, aerials, ribbon cutting, and move-in.

Additional Build Projects: Beyond King’s Ridge, we have also produced content for other CASA developments, ensuring new communities are introduced with professional, donor-ready storytelling.

Tenant Stories: Testimonial-driven pieces as well as unconventional stories told through imagery and on-screen quotes, designed to put the human impact of CASA’s work front and center.

Leadership and Explainers: CEO messages, FAQ videos, and initiative explainers created as efficient, quick-turn productions that provide CASA with evergreen resources for their website and donor communications.

Advertising Content: We produced OTT ads and photography for print publications to expand CASA’s visibility across both digital and traditional platforms.

Stills: Photography captured alongside video production to give CASA additional visual assets for campaigns, publications, and press.

Every piece was designed to be authentic, adaptable, and aligned with CASA’s long-term communications strategy.

OUTCOME

Video and imagery have become central to CASA’s communications, helping drive millions in fundraising and reaching audiences at scale. From capital campaigns like King’s Ridge that secured more than $26 million in support, to annual events and donor appeals that have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, our content has consistently proven its impact.

Tenant stories have reached audiences of over 100,000 views, while campaign pieces and aerial updates have been used to secure major gifts from individuals and organizations. Across every platform - live events, social media, web, and even local press - CASA now relies on a versatile content library that builds trust, demonstrates impact, and inspires ongoing support.
